Dear universe
Oct. 21st, 2009 07:57 am( bit of griping and profanity )
In translation, the back doors of the bus, which have to be pushed open and automatically close, snapped back on me when I was trying to get off the bus behind the person in front of me. Normally people are nice about holding the door for the next person to grab, but in this case no, and it snapped back and did a good number of whaling on my right thumb which has a lovely lumpy knot on it right now that may or may not bruise (I tend to be hard to bruise when it's painful and stupidly easy to bruise for little things). I'm going to go put ice on it but I'm so damned NOT amused at the universe right now that it's not even funny.
