Retail therapy

glasmalereiTo make up for my rather crappy day yesterday (it concluded with an hour of overtime and the 8:30 bus not showing up, which left me standing out at the bus stop for 45 minutes and not getting home until nearly 10pm) I just indulged in a little retail therapy. I will soon be the owner of a shiny candy apple red (applestore exclusive) brand new 16gig iPod nano. ^___^
This isn't entirely just whimsey. You have to understand - I own three iPods. All of which are very first gen. My 20gig first gen iPod classic is bulky, has a b&w display, doesn't do video or any of the other new shiny things, and only holds a charge for maybe 3 hours anymore. x_x My newer (first gen, the little square kind with the round button wheel on them) 1 gig each iPod shuffles (so that I could have one for workout music and one for relaxing music) still work like champs but they're, y'know... shuffles. You load a playlist on them and that's that, but that's all they do. Great for portability, not so much for things like the fact that my school releases supplement class lessons as video podcasts. =P
Okay, really, yes, I just want an iPod with a color display that'll do video. And now it's got a video camera built in too! [flails hands] And it's shiny alarming red! I was weak against the red. It's a Sith thing. x_x Really!
